Meet Christ The King Community Church

Our Mission Statement

Our Mission is to Create an authentic Christian COMMUNITY that effectively REACHES OUT to unchurched people with LOVE, ACCEPTANCE, and FORGIVENESS so that they may experience the JOY OF SALVATION and a purposeful LIFE OF DISCIPLESHIP!

Who We Are

We are a simple church. Deliberate Simplicity describes how we carry out our mission. Jesus said you could summarize the essence of Christianity as loving God with all your heart and loving your neighbor as yourself. In our efforts to keep it simple, we have chosen to focus on the areas that are life-changing and life-giving. We are minimalists in doctrine and practice. Because of our commitment to the centrality of Christ, we have become a home to people from many religious and denominational backgrounds. Where there is less clarity in Scripture we are less emphatic.

What We Believe

At CTK we believe in a REAL GOD who has REAL GRACE for REAL PEOPLE who HAVE REAL PROBLEMS. We believe in the TRUSTWORTHINESS of GOD and HIS WORD.

Our trust in God’s word is based on the premise that God is real and He has taken steps to reveal Himself to us. Scripture is our final authority for what we believe and practice.

  • God and His word is trustworthy.

  • Christ is our Savior and King

  • There is hope for the future and forgiveness for the past.

  • The Church holds the hope of the world in its hands.

Baptism

Baptism lets others know where you stand. Baptism doesn’t make you a believer, it shows that you believe already. Baptism does not “save” you, only our faith in Christ does that. It is going public about your faith in Jesus and communicating to the world your heart-felt commitment to following Him. It’s the next step after salvation.

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT

How is CTK Funded

The Ministries of CTK are supported completely by the tithes and offerings of participants. We believe that tithing means returning to God 10% of the resources that He has entrusted to us all, to support His work in the world. From your generous giving, CTK supports Mission locally, nationally, and globally. In addition to that, we provide a weekly worship service and dinner to students at ERAU. We support a full track team of students from K through 8 from Cypress Creek Elementary and Creekside Middle Schools.
